Aspen Belle

We had a great impromptu session with some friends' daughters this afternoon under the shade of the overhang of our roof. Her parents were loading the van up after staying with us for a few days and this little two-year-old was being as smiley as could be. The problem was, she had a little crush on me and wanted to stand at my feet at all times. No matter where I would position myself she would come and stand directly under me. And, for whatever reason, she has acquired the weird habit of completely covering her face with her hands and saying, "Cheese!" whenever a camera is pointing at her. We all thought that was hilarious and her parents said they had no idea where she picked that up. [Read And See More...]

Mom and Dad eventually tried luring her away from me with some Gold Fish, but the whole packaged ended up in her hands and she didn't want to let go. So, even though the picture below is absolutely adorable, it's got a couple tacky props in it. The lesson I learned here is to not let the little two-year-olds like you so much that they've got a crush on you, otherwise you won't get any work done!

Tomorrow I'll upload a couple of her three-month-old baby sister.

:) Tacky props are normally the most "true to life" shots though, wouldn't you agree?! Your work is amazing :) I am thoroughly enjoying browsing your flickr & blog!
