I have recently been enjoying reading the e-book The Magic of Black and White, Part One – Vision by Andrew S. Gibson that I bought at the awesome photography e-book store Craft & Vision. It has been a great reminder of some of the important concepts in black and white photography, and they are principles that will greatly influence all areas of photography. I am still not all the way through and I am already excited to get part two when it is released.
I love this picture. My favorite part is the different angles the books create on the different shelves. This picture looked great in color too, but it was too easy to miss those angles. The black and white treatment really accentuated those lines.
