This is one of my first pictures using my new Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8. I recently sold my Sigma 30mm because it just wasn't doing what I needed it to (though it did what it was supposed to do great). I bought the older model Tamron (not the one with Vibration Compensation) used on ebay.
I haven't shot too much with it, but so far I think I'm fairly impressed. There is most definitely some vignetting at both ends of the barrel, but it's nothing that ACR doesn't fix super quick. I'm hoping that this will become my walk-around lens so that I can ditch the kit lens.
